Work Health & Safety

Work Health & Safety Policy

Reyman Pty Ltd's documented commitment to the health and safety of its workers, contractors, and everyone affected by its operations.

1. Commitment to WHS

Reyman Pty Ltd is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace and to complying with work health and safety laws in every jurisdiction in which we operate. Health and safety is treated as a line-management responsibility, and no task is so urgent that it justifies unsafe work.

2. Management Responsibilities

Managers and supervisors are responsible for implementing this policy in their areas: providing safe systems of work, adequate resources and training, consulting with workers on WHS matters, and monitoring and reviewing safety performance.

3. Employee Responsibilities

Every employee must take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others, follow safe work procedures, use equipment correctly, report hazards and incidents, and cooperate with reasonable instructions from managers.

4. Contractor Responsibilities

Contractors and subcontractors must comply with this policy and all applicable WHS laws, and are assessed before engagement for their ability to work safely. WHS obligations extend to suppliers under our Supplier Code of Conduct.

5. Risk Management

Hazards are identified and risks assessed before work begins, using the hierarchy of controls — eliminate, substitute, engineer, administrate, and as a last resort, personal protective equipment. Risk assessments are reviewed whenever work changes or an incident occurs.

6. Remote Work Safety

Remote workers receive guidance on setting up a safe home office, and the same incident and hazard reporting obligations apply to remote work as to office work. Managers check in with remote team members on workload and wellbeing.

7. Ergonomics

Workstations are set up to minimise musculoskeletal strain, with guidance on posture, monitor and chair setup, and regular breaks from screen work. Ergonomic assessments are available on request.

8. Incident Reporting

All workplace incidents — including injuries and near misses — must be reported promptly to a manager. Incidents are investigated to identify causes and prevent recurrence, and records are kept in accordance with applicable law.

9. Hazard Reporting

Workers must report hazards as soon as they are identified. Reported hazards are assessed and corrected promptly, and there is no reprisal for reporting a hazard in good faith.

10. Consultation

Workers are consulted on WHS matters that affect them, including through team meetings and engagement channels, so that health and safety decisions are informed by the people doing the work.

11. Emergency Management

Each work location maintains emergency procedures covering evacuation, first aid, and emergency contacts. Staff are briefed on emergency arrangements, and evacuation procedures are tested periodically.

12. Continuous Improvement

This policy is reviewed periodically — and at least annually — and updated as our operations, our people, and WHS law evolve. WHS performance is monitored through incident records, hazard reports, and consultation feedback.
