Environmental Sustainability Policy

1. Commitment

Axisonic is committed to operating in an environmentally responsible manner and to complying with applicable environmental laws. We aim to reduce the environmental impact of our own operations and to help our clients reduce theirs through efficient, sustainable digital delivery.

We do not claim carbon-neutral or carbon-offset status unless and until it is independently verified and current.

2. Sustainable Technology Delivery

• Efficient cloud architecture — right-sizing infrastructure, consolidating workloads, and eliminating wasted compute.
• Energy-efficient cloud infrastructure — preferring cloud regions and providers that offer energy-efficient infrastructure where practical for the engagement.
• Carbon-aware infrastructure decisions — considering energy intensity when making architecture and hosting choices, balanced against performance, residency, and security requirements.
• Optimised delivery — performance-efficient code, caching, and data handling that reduce the energy consumed per user action.

3. Responsible Resource Use

• Responsible device lifecycle management — devices are used for their useful life, maintained to last, and retired responsibly.
• E-waste recycling — retired equipment is recycled through reputable e-waste channels rather than sent to landfill.
• Reduced paper consumption — digital-first documentation, invoicing, and reporting.
• Electronic documentation — contracts, statements of work, and reports are delivered electronically by default.

4. Remote-First Operations

Axisonic operates remote-first, which materially reduces the emissions associated with commuting and business travel. Where in-person engagement is required, we prefer to consolidate trips and use video collaboration by default.

5. Sustainable Procurement

When selecting suppliers, we consider their environmental practices alongside security, quality, and value — consistent with our Supplier Code of Conduct, which requires suppliers to operate in an environmentally responsible manner.

6. Review

This policy is reviewed periodically — and at least annually — and updated as our operations, our clients' requirements, and environmental obligations evolve.
