Modern Slavery & Ethical Sourcing Policy
Axisonic's voluntary commitment to identify, prevent, and address modern slavery risks across our operations and supply chain.
Scope & Status
This policy applies to Reyman Pty Ltd (ABN 68 649 031 649) and to the suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors engaged in our supply chain. It is a voluntary commitment: we hold ourselves to these standards regardless of whether we are required to report under the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth), and we will comply with that Act's reporting obligations to the extent they apply to us.
This policy works with our Supplier Code of Conduct and our subcontractor and supply chain governance framework.
1. Commitment
Axisonic has zero tolerance for modern slavery in any form, including:
- forced or compulsory labour;
- child labour;
- human trafficking;
- debt bondage; and
- exploitative recruitment practices.
We expect the same standard from every supplier, contractor, and subcontractor we engage, and from their own supply chains.
2. Supplier Due Diligence
New suppliers are screened as part of the assessment we apply to all prospective partners under our supply chain governance model. Screening considers the nature of the services, the jurisdiction in which work is performed, recruitment practices, and any known labour or human rights risks. Higher-risk suppliers receive additional scrutiny before approval.
3. Offshore Supplier Management
Where services are delivered by international suppliers — including our own offshore delivery resources — we assess local labour laws, recruitment and visa practices, and working conditions. International suppliers are held to the same standards in this policy and the Supplier Code of Conduct, and are monitored for ongoing compliance.
4. Contractual Requirements
Relevant obligations are flowed into supplier agreements, including compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth), a prohibition on forced labour, child labour, human trafficking, debt bondage, and exploitative recruitment, and a requirement for suppliers to pass equivalent obligations down to their own subcontractors and suppliers.
5. Risk Assessment
We assess modern slavery risk across our supplier base and treat certain categories as higher-risk, including:
- labour-intensive services such as data entry, content moderation, and call centre work;
- suppliers relying on large volumes of temporary or agency workers;
- work performed in jurisdictions with weaker labour protections; and
- hardware or equipment supply chains with known human rights risks.
6. Reporting
Employees, suppliers, and other stakeholders can report concerns about modern slavery or unethical sourcing by emailing hello@axisonic.com, or privacy@axisonic.com where personal information is involved. Reports are treated confidentially, and we do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
7. Remediation
Suspected issues are investigated promptly and proportionately. Where a concern is substantiated, we require corrective action from the supplier, and may suspend or terminate the engagement. Where the circumstances involve potential criminal conduct, we will cooperate with the relevant authorities.
8. Review
This policy is reviewed periodically — and at least annually — and updated as our operations, our supply chain, and the regulatory landscape change.
